Our Vision

To seek and share plant production knowledge globally

The International Plant Production Society (IPPS) is a global association of plant production professionals, including those in horticultural research and education. It was founded in 1951 when approximately 70 plant propagators gathered in Cleveland, Ohio, with the goal of sharing knowledge. The Society’s core value, embodied in its motto “to seek and to share,” continues to guide its activities, and over time, IPPS has expanded into an international forum for exchanging expertise in plant production.
