At the time of publishing this brochure, the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel has limited the number of people at our meeting to 150. Thus, registration for this conference is full registrations only. If this number is increased later in the summer, IPPS-SR will notify members by email of available space. COVID-19 health and safety procedures
The International Plant Propagators’ Society Southern Region (IPPS SRNA) is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all exhibitors and attendees at the Annual Meeting which will take place October 23-27, 2021, at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel, Mobile, AL. We are very excited to gather in-person with our community and continue to provide a safe environment for green industry professionals to network, learn, and grow their businesses. The safety information outlined on the page will be updated regularly to reflect the current procedures implemented by state and national health authorities.
By participating in the IPPS Southern Region Annual Meeting in Mobile, AL you understand and voluntarily assume all risks related to potential exposure to COVID-19. You also agree to abide by the safety protocols outlined below, and any additional protocols that may be implemented by IPPS Southern Region, The State of Alabama, the City of Mobile and the host hotel and individual tour stops.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) currently recommends the following safety precautions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19:
All adults over the age of 16 are eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccination, and people 12 and older are approved to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Masks are a critical step to help prevent people from getting and spreading COVID-19. A surgical mask worn over the nose and mouth may offer some protection to you as well as protecting those around you. The CDC currently recommends that you wear a mask and take everyday preventive actions in public settings and mass transportation, at events and gatherings, and anywhere you will be around other people. IPPS Southern Region will have masks available for those who need them.
The following modifications to the IPPS Southern Region Annual Meeting layout and procedures will be implemented to allow for social distancing during the show:
•Modified seating layout and capacity limits for seminar tracts
•Reconfigured layouts to reduce traffic in congregation points throughout the event space
COVID-19 testing and self-quarantine
You should watch out for symptoms of COVID-19, especially if you’ve been around someone who is sick. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should get tested and stay home and away from others. Do not attend any gatherings if you are feeling ill or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Enhanced cleanliness procedures and disinfecting supplies
In addition to the enhanced sanitation procedures, IPPS Southern Region will provide sanitation equipment such as hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes throughout the show. All high-touch surfaces will be frequently sanitized, and all IPPS Southern Region exhibitors, staff, and attendees must wash their hands with soap and water on a regular basis.
