International Plant Propagators' Society Student Research Competition
The most highly respected organization
of nurserymen in the southern United States of America is offering two
awards for original research results pertinent to the production of
horticultural crops in the southern USA. Graduate and undergraduate
students enrolled in any university, junior, community, or four-year
colleges are eligible. Two awards, $1,000 and $500, will be given to
first and second place papers, respectively. The finalists will be invited
to present their findings orally to the membership at the annual meeting.
First and second place will be awarded. A final copy will be presented
to the Editor of the Southern Region IPPS and published in International
Plant Propagators Society Combined Proceedings. The 2010 annual meeting will be held October 9-13 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
