MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Eastern Region, North America
The International Plant Propagators' Society was founded in 1951 to promote seeking and sharing of information about the art and science of plant propagation. Currently, the Society has eight regions: Australia Region; Region of Great Britain & Ireland; IPPS Japan Region; New Zealand Region; Eastern Region, North America; Southern Africa Region; Southern Region of North America; and Western Region (U.S.A. and Canada).
Society membership is made up of professional horticulturists in commercial enterprise, research, teaching, or extension activities. Members work for botanic gardens and arboreta as well. We are not an organization for amateur gardeners, but we are an educational organization of those who propagate and produce plants. Students whose program of training includes plant production are also welcome. As a member, you may join any region and you may also participate in programs offered by any other region. However, members usually join the region closest to their home. Everyone is encouraged to participate in our meetings, and share their ideas. We believe in both open seeking and sharing of information.
